Buck the Bison arrived in Brooklyn, NY about 2 weeks
ago and he has been busy since! He has been travelling around the school with
our students, seeing the sights of Cavallaro. He played volleyball in the Gym,
ate lunch at the 601 table, been to the after school program and more. He has
also slept over at some of students houses. Bucky spent Halloween with Abdoul
walking around Brooklyn and eating a lot candy. He celebrated Jahmire's
birthday with him, opening presents and eating cake (he's been doing a lot
eating). He went to Veronika's dance competition and the park over the weekend. We will be posting some pictures of those adventures soon. Yesterday, Bucky went home with Mr. Hutton to Rockaway Beach, NY. You can see some pictures of Bucky sitting in NY traffic and on Rockaway Beach, which was hard hit by Superstorm Sandy last year. They also took some pictures at the Rockaway 9/11 Memorial Park, you can see the new Freedom Tower in the background of a few pictures. Bucky has plans to go a Brooklyn Nets game next week. Our students love Bucky and love showing him off to their friends and family!

Hi, everyone! This is Ms. Wilson in New Buffalo. We miss Bucky but are so glad you're having fun with him. Keep taking lots of pictures! Did you know I used to be a New Yorker? I lived in the city for a short while, but am forever and always a Yankees fan!
