Visitting a Shrine with Mr. Apple wearing Kimono!

Hatsumode is to visit shrines and temples to pray for health and happiness in the new year. We took Mr. Apple to Hatsumode.

He is wearing Kimono, a traditional costume.
This Kimono is Furisode, which is especcially for young ladies.
Though Mr. Apple is not woman, we do not have any doll's Kimono for man.Sorry, Mr.Apple. But you looks so nice!

Hatsumode with friends.

My daughter, 5years-old, has a baby doll PoPo-chan. It is PoPo-chan’s kimono.

"Did Mr. Apple eat any Japanese food yet?"
Yes, He ate SUSHI, TONKATSU, and SOBA….many!
I will show you his pictures later.

Question is was that a temple where he was standing.
This is not a temple but a shrine.
Buildings used for Buddhist ceremonies are usually called temples, and those used for Shinto ceremonies are called shrines.
The shrine is HIE-shrine at Hiratsuka.
