Akihabara Gachapon Kaikan (Capsule-toy House)
There are about 430 gachapon or gacha-gacha (capsule toy vending machines) containing popular anime and comic character goods such as Anpanman, Gundam, Kamen Rider, Pokémon, Kinnikuman, and Evangelion. Gachapon collectors come here to try to their luck in getting gachapon missing from a series and rare items. Character goods are elaborate and sophisticated and so make good souvenirs. The anticipation when "playing" gachapon is exciting for not only children but also adults. There is also a vending machine for oden (Japanese hot stew with vegetables and other ingredients). Why not try it?
